<text type="title"> is used for the divisions of a canon law collection (q.v.) when the medieval scribe specifies division into titles, resulting in a collection known to modern scholars as, e.g., "The Collection in 53 Titles". It takes the attribute @xml:id, which should have the format [siglum.folio.title]. When there is more than one title in a collection, each <text type="title"> tag should have an @n value indicating whether it is the first, second, third, etc. title in the collection.
