Folio numbering throughout the manuscript transcription is indicated using the <pb> tag. This tag should be placed wherever a new folio starts, whether within a canon transcription or between collections, parts or books, or in the middle of a sentence or a word. <pb> takes one attribute, @n, which indicates the number of the folio starting at the page break. It does not require a second closing tag, and should be closed by including "/" at the end of the tag. NOTE: <pb> must go within a <div> tag, or the display in the search engine has a nonsensical string of folio numbers (conversely, if one sees a wild string of nonsensical folio numbers, suspect a misplaced <pb> tag).
